The Bridletowne Neighbourhood Centre (BNC) will be a vibrant hub for health, wellness, and community engagement in Scarborough, Ontario’s Steeles-L’Amoreaux neighbourhood. By integrating crucial health services, social support, and cultural amenities, the BNC will cater to the needs of more than 70,000 local residents as well as 200,000 people from surrounding communities.

This trailblazing healthy infrastructure project will exemplify Ontario's commitment to fostering well-being.

Spanning 150,000 ft², the BNC's design will prioritize inclusivity by creating an inviting environment that appeals to individuals of all ages. The BNC will cultivate a healthy community where people can not only reside but also work, learn, and engage in recreational activities.

Comprising five distinct program areas, the building will house a range of essential services, including:

  • Scarborough Health Network Regional Nephrology Services

  • Medical agency space for organizations such as Hong Fook, CareFirst, and Senior Persons Living Connected

  • YMCA childcare facilities

  • YMCA health and fitness amenities

  • YMCA community spaces dedicated to local agencies

Within the YMCA portion of the facility, there will be 70,000 ft² dedicated to fitness, recreation, and childcare programs, as well as vital community services. The YMCA offerings will encompass aquatics, group fitness classes, preschool, children, and youth programs, including child-minding services.
