We provided commissioning services for this commercial project in Edmonton, Canada.

The headquarters of the Alberta Union of Provincial Employees (AUPE) is a new purpose-built office building. It is the first commercial office building in Edmonton, Alberta, that incorporates NECB 2011, WELL Building Standard, and LEED v4 into its design.

Designed by Next Architecture, the four-story, CAN$49 million building provides the AUPE with 126,000 square feet of office space. The building also contains meeting spaces large enough to accommodate 250 members at a time, as well at 400 parking stalls, and is near several hotels in the area.

Our team was the AUPE-appointed LEED commissioning authority and conducted verification of the HVAC, electrical systems, and BAS control system.
