We were the technology design consultant for constructing the state's first free-standing cancer hospital, a $750 million project focal point.

Cancer Pavilion Redevelopment Associates LLC, an affiliate of New Brunswick Development Corporation, or DEVCO, was approved to construct the 11-story, 519,000 sf Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey Pavilion. The Pavilion houses inpatient and outpatient care operated by RWJ Barnabas Health, research facilities occupied by Rutgers University, and administrative space. The Pavilion houses 98 critical care oncology beds, so all cancer patients and ten operating and procedure rooms are treated at this building. A 975-space parking garage, a central utility plant, and a loading dock also serve the Pavilion.

We held regular technology-focused sessions with senior clinical and technology leadership at the hospital mover several months to define the technological features and functions of the facility and develop a roadmap for how the project could achieve these initiatives. Our project expands upon this with a comprehensive technology program management scope with Introba, including facilitation of user meetings and technology requirements, development of the technology schedule and budget, RFP creation, vendor selection, and site readiness and installation visits.
