Hoxton Hotel
Situated on the corner of Waterloo Road, the 142-bedroom hotel seeks to offer a coherent and vibrant scheme to replace intensive post-war office development.
The scheme includes the Old Fire Station and hopes to incorporate this listed element in the context of a fitting new build.
Introba (formerly Elementa Consulting) worked closely with EPR to achieve planning on this prominent London development. Mechanical and electrical services were chosen specifically to reduce their impact on the local surroundings and to provide an in context roof scape that works with the Old Fire Station and the local surroundings.
The team produced the energy and sustainability strategy for the development, a key issue associated with the local planning requirement. The solution centers around a micro CHP plant.
