California State Polytechnic University | Center for Science and Mathematics
The Center for Science and Mathematics consists of the new construction of a 190,000 ft² teaching laboratory facility.
The program includes administration, office/conference, classroom, lecture, lab, and support rooms. The building features several innovative energy-efficient design strategies, including chilled beams, night purge, operable windows, 100% outside air for ventilation, and radiant heating and cooling. The project also features many water-efficient strategies and a highly energy-efficient lighting system that uses daylight wherever possible, which results in an energy efficiency of 30%.
