Berendo Middle School Gymnasium
Construction of a new gymnasium was completed at Berendo Middle School in the Pico-Union neighborhood of Los Angeles.
The two-level gymnasium straddles the upper and lower levels of the campus and combines playing courts with seating areas, a community plaza, and educational gardens. The new gym coincides with additional campus upgrades, including the relocation of a Healthy Start clinic, construction of a new courtyard and sports fields, and increased ADA-accessible paths.
Introba (formerly Integral Group) provided full mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design services for this project, emphasizing cost-effective solutions to maximize the new gymnasium’s value and maintainability.
