60 Atlantic Avenue
60 Atlantic is located in the heart of Liberty Village, an area undergoing rapid transformation characterized by thousands of new condominiums set amidst historic industrial buildings.
Introba has delivered mechanical and electrical consulting engineering services for the adaptive reuse of an existing heritage building turned into a first-class boutique office, retail, and restaurant space.
Rather than tear down the structure, originally built in 1898, and begin anew, the design team voted for the restoration of a significant heritage asset that easily blends into the existing fabric of the neighborhood while bringing new economic and social activity to the site.
Design features include variable air volume compartment units for ease of air and water distribution, condensing boilers, and radiant wall heaters.
