Integral Group Renews Global Just.℠ 2.0 Label

Integral Group announces global Just.℠ 2.0 label renewal with the International Living Future Institute (ILFI).

The ILFI Just.℠ 2.0 label is a voluntary platform that serves as a transparency tool for organizations to publicly disclose operational performance in six categories covering:

• Diversity & Inclusion

• Equity

• Employee Health

• Employee Benefits

• Stewardship

• Purchasing & Supply Chain

These performance categories help companies optimize policies and procedures to support social equity and enhance employee engagement within the organization. Within each category, there are specific indicators requiring disclosure of policies, programs, and key performance data to measure progress and highlight areas for improvement. It also means Integral is now positioned to partner with clients and project teams that are pursuing the Living Building Challenge, which, under its Equity imperative, requires Just label firms to be on the team.

Just label renewal is required every 2 years, allowing snapshots of progress and a record of measured improvements over time.

Integral celebrates the transparency and external benchmarking obtained from renewing its Just. SM 2.0 label using data collected in 2020. Through observation and analysis of the key learnings from these indicators, Integral has highlighted focus areas for improvement over the next two years.

In partnership with ILFI, Integral aims to inspire others within the built environment industry towards their own social justice and equity journey and will work with ILFI to improve the global framework, so that it is applicable and accessible to a broad range of organizations around the world.

Integral Group Just Label Timeline

• 2013 | First engineering firm to receive a Just label (US only)

• 2015 | 1st renewal; Canadian team joins the US with its own Just label

• 2017 | 2nd renewal: First company to receive a global Just label

• 2021 | 3rd renewal; Latest Just label (First company to receive a global Just. SM 2.0 label)
