Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at North Druid Hills

Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta (Children’s) is developing its master plan for its new North Druid Hills campus (72 acres), which will include a 1.5 million ft² replacement hospital (including a NICU), two 300,000+ ft² administrative support facilities, a 300,000 ft² medical office building, and parking decks for over 6,000 vehicles for staff and the public. One of the main goals of this project is to implement state-of-the-art technology to help Children’s enhance the patient and family experience and improve clinical workflows and operations. 

Our team has been hired to provide technology master planning services, technology program management services, and full technology design services for the new hospital, support buildings, and parking decks. 

In addition to standard healthcare technologies, Children’s is will be implementing the latest in healthcare including digital wayfinding, Bluetooth device tracking, patient elopement and tracking systems, telemedicine, remote rounding, and voice-enabled patient rooms (Alexa, Siri, etc.). Part of our team's role is to lead Technology Visioning sessions with key stakeholders to ensure the best technology roadmap is developed for this project.
