Projects included transforming the back-of-house office space to a new prestigious gallery space in Sotheby’s listed building on New Bond Street, London. The brief for this £3.5-million scheme was to provide building services systems that will best fit the limitations and heritage of the existing listed structure, meet the technical requirements of the client, and meet modern standards for low energy use and minimum maintenance.

Introba has been employed to provide all mechanical, electrical, public health and sustainability engineering design for a number of Sotheby’s projects. Key features and challenges have included specialty air conditioning and humidity control for Gallery and storage spaces, restricted access and constrained area for plant installation due to central London location.
