York Regional Police Association Headquarters
We provided mechanical and engineering services for this new two-story facility in Ontario, Canada.
The York Regional Police Association’s new two-story headquarters and clubhouse replaced the association’s previous 20-year-old headquarters.
The facility has office space for the association’s growing staff and rentable office space for other tenants. It also has a new private member social space, including a bar, bistro dining, and a games area, as well as two private lounge spaces with access to a covered terrace.
The social space has a new commercial kitchen. There is also a large event space, rentable by the public, for member functions, as well as member-organized educational events and seminars.
Our team used an air-source VRF (variable refrigerant volume) system for heating and cooling and ERVs (energy recovery ventilators) for heat recovery of the supply and exhaust air. There is LED lighting throughout the building, plus EV chargers in the car park.
