Staples Mill Centre
Staples Mill Center is an 80-acre mixed-use complex being developed on the site of an old residential complex.
Which will consist of 50,000 ft² of office space, 150,000 ft² of retail space on the ground level, and two residential multi-story buildings (390 units each) with retail on the ground level wrapped around a parking deck. The fully built-out project includes amenities such as a health club, full-service restaurant, fast food, a large grocery chain, various small merchants, and a 3-story 55,000 ft² public library, designed as a centerpiece for the community.
Introba (formerly Integral Group) was selected as the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineer for the design of the buildings and assisted in the master planning of the site to work alongside the Commonwealth Architect of Richmond, Virginia. Introba’s experience with sustainable, mixed-use projects was an important factor in its selection.
