St. Paul's Hospital Clinical Support and Research Centre

Advancing Biomedical Research and Collaboration
Providence Health Care (PHC) envisioned St. Paul’s Clinical Support and Research Centre (CSRC) as a cutting-edge facility that fosters collaboration, integrates biomedical research, and enhances healthcare delivery for St. Paul’s Hospital and Health Campus. The challenge was to design a facility that seamlessly connects to the hospital via an above-grade walkway, includes a parkade structure below, and aligns with PHC's strategic initiatives for innovation and excellence in healthcare.
The CSRC will serve as a hub for interdisciplinary collaboration, housing specialty medical services, enabling functions, and spaces designed to promote the translation of research into clinical practice. The facility embodies PHC's mission, vision, and values, creating an environment that encourages interaction between medical professionals and researchers while supporting accessible healthcare services.
Introba is providing comprehensive engineering and consulting services to bring this vision to life, including mechanical engineering, fire protection, and LEED consulting services. Our approach focuses on integrating operational functionality with sustainability and collaboration. By closely aligning with PHC’s strategic goals, Introba is ensuring the CSRC supports the seamless connection of research, healthcare delivery, and specialty services. The facility's design fosters innovation, enables efficient operations, and creates an adaptable platform for future advancements in healthcare and research.
