Introba (formerly Ross & Baruzzini) provide data center and high-performance computing consulting services for the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia.

We provided data center and high-performance computing consulting services for Georgia Tech’s planned 24-story 695,000 ft² High-Performance Computer Center for Modeling and Simulation. The mixed-use facility is the new home for Georgia Tech’s computer-based research programs and serves the private sector by providing state-of-the-art space for computers, data centers, and other high-tech operations. The HPC Center is the latest large-scale development at Technology Square, an award-winning, 1.4-million ft² Georgia Tech-sponsored district.

The computer center includes:

  • 480,000 ft² of office space (20 floors)

  • 80,000 ft² of high-performance computing center

  • 35,000 ft² retail and lobby space

  • 100,000 ft² parking deck

We developed the feasibility, program, and budget for the new facility that is planned to have up to 80,000 ft² of high-performance computing data center space. We were chosen for our unique ability to manage diverse stakeholders through proven processes, and the application of our holistic knowledge of IT, facilities, and real estate. The project is additionally complex due to the blended requirement of traditional enterprise IT and grant-based research HPC.
