Introba provided mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, fire protection, and sustainability services for Deakin University’s Hycel Technology Hub in Warrnambool, VIC, Australia.

Hycel Technology Hub will be the home of a hydrogen fuel cell manufacturing and testing area, research and pilot study areas, staff workspace, training facilities, hydrogen testbeds, and hydrogen storage. It will also be one of Australia’s first regional facilities to develop and scale innovative, safe, and affordable new hydrogen technologies and features Australia’s largest fuel cell manufacturing line.

Working with a client committed to sustainable technologies and applied innovation is an excellent opportunity, and designing building services for an Australian-first facility is a welcome and unique challenge for the team. The new Hub will create a regional cluster of expertise and tap into the global hydrogen economy, generating jobs and cutting emissions by six billion tons annually by 2050.

Introba (formerly Integral Group) provides mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, fire protection, and sustainability services for the specialized laboratory facility.
